will be held on the 14th September 2024.

THE Quo Family event of 2024

 

Headline band – The Quo Story (formerly Heavy Traffic)

We are very pleased to announce that The Quo Story, previously known as Heavy Traffic, Scotland’s No.1 Status Quo tribute band, will headline the event bringing an authentic Quo experience which covers the whole 60 years of the bands existence with songs to please both the hardcore Quo fan and general music lovers alike.

 

Heavy Traffic recently headlined McVention in Glasgow and in 2022 both opened and closed the official FTMO… Status Quo Fan Club in Butlins, Minehead in front of around 1000 fans. Do not miss the chance to see Rhys, Jay, Gary and Jack making a rare appearance in the heart of the country.

 

The Rooters

Before Heavy Traffic take to the stage we are also delighted to announce that The Rooters will join us for a set containing smoking classic rock tunes with twin guitars, vocals and amazing drums. They may even make a special visit to the bar!

 

12 Gold Riffs

We’re excited to announce that opening The 2nd Annual Irthlingborough Rock ‘Til You Drop Day you have an exclusive chance to see 12 Gold Riffs playing their one and only gig! Consisting of the incredibly talented Chris Fernihough, Jay Fitzpatrick, Jack Boustead and Alex Bayou, these 4 young guys will get the day off to an amazing start.

Martin Curries’ Rock Disco

We’re really pleased that Martin Currie will again be providing some additional music with his Rock Disco between bands and maybe while you enjoy that final drink of the evening!

 

T-Shirts now available

We were repeatedly asked during the 1st Rock ‘Til You Drop Day if T-shirts were available so this year you can purchase your official t-shirt from The Merch Stall on this site. 2 designs are now available.

The cost of the T-shirt is £18. Postage to UK only is £1.50 or free collection on the day for pre-ordered T-Shirts only.

 

To maintain this price we will only order the shirts in minimum orders of 10, therefore, please be aware there may be a delay in receiving your order.

 

T-shirts will not be available to purchase on the day and, due to the minimum order detailed above, they may only be available at the current price for a limited time.

 

We would love to see pictures of you wearing your

Rock ‘Til You Drop Day T-shirt at gigs and events in 2024 so, just for fun, we will be offering a small prize to be awarded at the event to the best picture, in the organisers opinion, posted on the Rock ‘Til You Drop Day Facebook group. Good Luck!

 

Fish and Chips

Following the success of this last year, we will again be taking orders for food from the local Fish and Chip shop for delivery after the first band have finished at approximately 5:30pm. More details how to order will be available closer to the event.
 
If you prefer something different, there are various takeaways within a short walk of the venue. Plus Hotdogs are available to buy from the bar while they last!
